The school provides education, to students coming from 19 different villages, from class 6 to the intermediate level.  The school has a total of 303 students and they are being nurtured by 23 highly qualified and committed teachers.

Facilities

The school has facilities of all kinds such as computer lab, first aid room, solar panels so they don’t have to face load shedding, different clubs for students to participate in to showcase their talent such as dramatics society, science society, arts and crafts society, speech club, innovation society, social and moral societies and so many more.

Adventures of Science

A total of 303 students are given free uniform, all kinds of books to take them through all the adventures of science to math’s to all the parts of Pakistan, the world, sea, to being a part of historical figures life’s. The students are not deprived of creating their own imagination while wrapping themselves with all kinds of books at Syedanwala Higher secondary school.

Other Activities

With the education, a lot of emphasis is given on outdoor activities. Fresh air, a light competition and a day filled with fun, annual Sports gala builds the passion and sportsmen spirit of energetic and lively individuals of tomorrow. The outdoor games include cricket, football and skipping.

Career Counselling

Syedanwala school also prepares its students for the future in terms of providing career counselling to help them choose their career, educational visits and study tours. Focus is also given on presentations and how to deliver them which is a mandatory part of learning at Syedanwala which is why annual speech contests are held every year with annual prize distribution to motivate and inspire the students to keep learning and growing.

Students are given all sorts of trainings such as first aid training, training on pests and insects, female health counselling, health screening camps, computer coding training, agriculture and kitchen gardening, vocational training workshops which includes electrical workshops, mechanical workshops and woodwork workshops.

Assembly

Every day early morning assembly is held at the school for the girls to give their presentations based on facts and moral values. Principal of the school, Farhana Tabassum, gives an address early morning to the students and shares the school’s vision with them. This assembly ends with the traditional national anthem.
